Cycleplan joins forces with Quotezone

Bicycle insurance specialist Cycleplan has joined up with insurance comparison platform Quotezone.co.uk to increase the reach of its policies.

Launched in August, Quotezone’s bike insurance comparison service enables cyclists to compare quotes in minutes, claiming to be one of the first of its type in the UK.

In addition to equipment cover for theft and accidental damage, Cycleplan offers public liability cover up to £5 million. Personal accident cover is also available in the event of an accident.

According the Office for National Statistics (ONS) more than 300,000 bikes are stolen each year in the UK, where bike theft has jumped 17% since 2015.
