EBCO increases sales force in London & Southeast

E-Bike distributor EBCO has bolstered its sales team with the appointment of Pete Hancock to Area Account Manager for London and the southeast.

Hancock joins UK Sales Manager, Nigel Watson, who will continue to manage the northern region of the UK and oversee the sales operation.

Hancock brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously held roles at 2×2 worldwide and Raleigh. He will be responsible for selling the new EBCO ‘home brand’ alongside Corratec’s e-Bike offering in the UK.

Hancock said: “When the position arose to work for EBCO I leapt at the opportunity! E-Bikes are continually growing in the UK and the marketing is increasingly bouyant. With improved technology, aesthetics and performance the e-Bike now offers an amazing opportunity to dealers and I wanted to be part of the e-Bike market in these exciting times.”

EBCO MD, Paul Stanforth, added: “It’s great to have Pete onboard, he comes with a huge amount of experience, knowledge, contacts and respect in the UK cycling industry. We are moving into a new phase of the business at EBCO with a completely new EBCO line up (watch this space!) and an excellent range fro Corratec, so we need excellent sales people in place to work with us.

“Pete worked for us back in our Saracen days so it’s good to welcome him back. We will also have another new starter shortly, working with dealers in the southwest area.”
