Established in 1992, Sigma Sports has evolved into the UK's number one Road Cycling and Triathlon independent retailer. This is an opportunity to join us at the beginning of an exciting new project as we look to open our second store in the beautiful market town of Oakham in Spring 2020.
We are actively recruiting staff now, ahead of opening, as successful applicants will spend a few weeks at our flagship store in South West London, receiving full training, and more importantly, understanding our obsession for delivering an industry leading customer experience. All travel and accommodation costs will be covered.
In a busy, exciting and challenging environment, we strive to deliver outstanding service to our customers, whilst providing the latest products from the leading brands in cycling.
ABOUT THE JOB
You will be required to:
Engage with customers, from meeting and greeting, to understanding their needs
Develop your product knowledge for a variety of the latest and most exciting products in the industry
Learn the basics of rider position
Manage sales orders to ensure they are delivered on time
You’re passionate about cycling or triathlon
You have strong people skills - you’re approachable, a good listener and empathetic
You have a thirst to develop product knowledge
You’re a team player
You strive for perfection
You have good organisational skills
Be able to work under pressure
We offer a competitive salary based on ability and experience.
Full-Time: Five days per week to include Saturdays and alternate Sundays.
Part-Time: Weekend availability essential with some options for weekdays.
28 days holiday including bank holidays.
