to grow an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join our team.
You are a dynamic individual with a positive can-do attitude with some experience of bikes and an enthusiasm for
cycling. You are keen to join a small friendly team where you can make a real difference and help grow the business.
A Cytech qualification is beneficial, however on the job training will be provided for anyone with the right skills and
a passion to learn.

Every bespoke bike build is a customer’s dream project that needs to be assembled to the highest standard and
J.Laverack’s in-house style.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include;
- Quality checking frames and components before and during assembly
- Assembling new bikes and framesets to meet our in-house standards and style
- Packaging complete bikes and framesets ready for shipping
- Servicing existing customers bikes
- Managing the workshop calendar to ensure all deadlines are met
- Liaising with suppliers and dealers regarding build queries
-Managing customer queries and offering product or general cycling advice
-Managing stock levels of workshop essentials
-Checking in component orders

Your knowledge & experience…
-Excellent team working skills
-Consistent with a high attention to detail
-Meticulous and thorough approach
-Good organisation and timekeeping
-Ability to keep accurate records
-Self-motivated with an ability to work unsupervised
-Strong customer service skills
-Experience using email, Word, Excel and database packages.
-Certification for mechanic skills gained will be an advantage but are not essential if alternative experience can be
referenced or explained.
-Experience with hydraulic disc brakes, electronic and mechanical gearing, tubeless tyre systems and or the ability to
build wheels will be a benefit.
-An understanding of groupsets and components from the main manufacturers
-Awareness of market trends and current products
