Cycle Channel Manager

2pure is the UK exclusive distributor for brands operating within the specialist cycle, run, snow and general sports markets. Role

The successful candidate will be committed to building and maintaining successful and lucrative relationships with company partners in order to maintain and grow the Cycle Channel within 2pure.

Responsibilities
The key areas that you will be responsible for are:
• Managing brand relationships, developing and executing brand plans for each of the brands under your responsibility.
• Manage and support the external and internal sales team within your channel.
• Generate and maintain resources required for successful execution of brand strategy such as sales materials and commercial reports.


Specific Tasks
You will be comfortable with the following tasks being part of your role.
• Brand Management
o Prepare brand plans that are agreed with the brands to deliver expectations. The brand plans will cover the sales and marketing strategy and resource requirements.
o Report back to brand on progress based on the brand plans at summary level monthly and detail level quarterly.
o Work alongside brands to build the brand in the UK.
o Crafting and developing sales strategies to include timelines, promotional activity, offers, POS and sales tools for the business and the retailers to meet company sales goals.
o Produce marketing plan with the marketing team to best deliver the brand results.
o Manage pricing and commercial terms for our brands to deliver the company goals.
o Working with the merchandising teams and the Sales Director, manage the flow and lifecycle of our inventory to maximise sales and margin opportunities for your brands.
o Keep aWorkbook (2pure digital catalogue) up to date with correct product and pricing and tools for the sales team.
o Travel as required to brand/distributor meetings internationally.
• Manage the sales teams
o Set goals and budgets for the sales team.
o Measure and direct the sales team to assist them to deliver on your KPI’s.
o Spend time visiting accounts with the team to provide them with training and feedback and to stay close to the market.
o Overall responsibility for the running and operation of the sales team.
o Ensure the team are trained and have the tools to allow them to develop and perform to the highest level.
o Prepare for, and present at sales meetings held regularly at our HQ in Edinburgh.

• Reporting on channel performance as required, including monthly Management Meeting Reports for the Board of Directors.
• Represent the business at trade shows and key events.


Your approach to work will be methodical and creative and require you to be comfortable with several open projects at any one time – you will be process and results motivated.

Salary
Competitive basic salary dependant on experience.
Monthly bonus; company vehicle; iPhone and Macbook laptop.
Minimum 28 days holiday.
