Job Description:

Stif Mountain Bikes are looking for a Manager to run our brand new store in Bristol.

Stif is one of the UK’s leading mountain bike stores and you would be managing a busy team of passionate staff.

You will need sales and ideally managerial experience of working within the cycling industry. An excellent technical knowledge of high-end mountain bikes and componentry is essential.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to –

· Serving customers both in store, over the phone and via email.

· You will need to be competent at specifying and correctly advising our knowledgeable customers on their custom bike builds.

· Setting up Demo bikes for customer’s needs, with thorough attention to detail.

· Advising customers on technical product purchases such as componentry, technical clothing, helmets, protection etc.

· Organising the Merchandising and replenishment of the shop floor displays.

· Keeping the shop clean, tidy and presentable, maintaining very high standards in this respect.

· Driving and motivating the sales team and mechanics to hit our targets.

· Organising the staff rota.

· Staff discipline and performance reviews.

· Organising stock replenishment from Stif HQ and some stock ordering from various suppliers.

· Stock management.

· Swiftly dealing with any customer complaints to provide a positive outcome.

· Key holder responsibilities.

· Day to day tasks, i.e. cashing up, staff register, liaising with accounts, banking etc.

You’ll be an effective delegator when it comes to the workload, but won’t shy away from getting hands-on and leading from the front to inspire your team.
