Purpose Statement/Main Role

To establish, develop and maintain marketing strategies in support of the company vision and direction and future proof existing tools and techniques and make improvements to the company profile and establishing new routes to market.

Evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement/re-align marketing plans as needed.

Oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional activities and web based information. Accountability for the personal data control within the Data Protection Act and subsequent GDPR.

You will need to build strong working relationships with different areas across the business, including R&D, Sales, customer service, IT and product departments to gather intelligence and ensure timely responses to change.


Principle Accountabilities/Responsibilities/Scope


Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff activities.
• Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products in conjunction with sales, brands and R&D.
• Responsible for the marketing of Company products and services to the right market through B2B.
• Accountability for the control of personal information relating to any Marketing activities related to the Data Protection Act and subsequent GDPR.
• Manage exposure of the whole product lifecycle from strategic planning and concept to end of life.
• Achieve, frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available routes to market.
• Expand and develop marketing platforms including social media.
• Promote strength and integrity within team dynamics and develop skills base.
• Conduct market research to determine requirements for existing and future products.
• Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information.
• Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results.
• Deliver marketing activity with agreed budget.

NB - These duties are not exhaustive and are subject to change as and when the business demands.

Key Additional Knowledge/Education

• Business or marketing related degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Extensive experience in all aspects of developing, delivering and maintaining marketing strategies in line with Company objectives
• Technical marketing skills
• Understanding of Data Protection and GDPR
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Digital Marketing skills
• Proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
