We are a US Bike brand that will be opening a UK subsidiary in the next 2 months – applicants who are invited to the interview stage will be advised of the brand name.

Position: Factory Sales Representative - Southern UK


Job Summary: The Factory Sales Representative position is directly responsible for the revenue generation in his/her territory. It is the primary responsibility of the Factory Rep to grow the market share of the Bike Brand in a manner consistent with the goals of the company and to ensure the Bike Brand is being represented in a positive and professional image in the given territory. The Factory Rep will assist the Bike Brand in selecting high quality retailers that will maximize the presence and sales of our brand, and quality of our distribution in their territory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maximize product penetration by market and retailer (market share)
• Pursue quality, financially strong retailers in the territory with an interest in solid long-term partnerships
• Generate revenue from sales potential within your territory through simple, but thorough, product and program presentations for bikes using samples where necessary
• Maximize middle to higher end model penetration within dealers
• Cooperate with your inside sales partner to accomplish goals
• Maintain solid knowledge of product and programs as well as those of your competitors. Report on areas where has opportunities with current product as well as areas it could improve to be more competitive
• Support product planning by sourcing competitive information as requested
• Understand company goals and objectives
• Project a positive and professional image at all times
• Work to ensure customer participation in Marketing programs
• Implement and execute national product and program strategy on a regional level
• Process warranty claims and credits with the help of your inside counterpart to insure timely delivery of all warranty frames, parts, and credits consistent with our customer service policy
• Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure good credit standing of your accounts
• Participate in training and development programs
• Participate in and help to coordinate major retail events of your customers
• Deliver the required amount of product training and clinics to your dealer and their staff
• Attend and participate as required in company and team meetings
• Any other such responsibility as shall be assigned by Management

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or Associates degree with 2 yrs experience
• High level of organizational skills, integrity, honesty, work ethic
• High level of self motivation, self discipline and dedication to the job- can work independently
• Must like to travel
• Solid business judgement – be able to consistently make logical and practical decisions on behalf of the brand
• Be innovative and creative with ideas for your territories sales
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in general computer skills
