Cowboy eBikes join Blike subscription service

Cowboy eBikes are now available to UK customers by subscription, via Blike.

Blike’s flexible cancel anytime scheme will now offer consumers Cowboy eBikes from £120 per month.

Given the cost of eBikes, Blike says that subscription will play an important role in helping people access them.

Cowboy’s increasingly flexible route to market includes D2C, the aforementioned Blike subscription service as well as working with retail partners.

In addition to a yearly service carried out by Blike’s expert mechanics, their partnership with London-based bike repair firms Fettle and Fix Your Cycle, and a network of local bike shop partners outside of the Capital, help riders access on the road repairs or extra servicing conveniently. The cancel anytime subscription also provides riders with peace of mind by including theft and accidental damage insurance, said the service.

Charles Van Haverbeke, Cowboy Chief Sales Officer, said: “The benefits of e-bike cycling for the rider and the planet are huge, so we are always looking for ways to make our award-winning bikes as accessible as possible. We are really excited to partner with Blike who make subscriptions super simple. Blike offers an affordable, flexible entry into the world of e-bikes, so it is great to be able to strengthen our relationship and help build the already blooming Cowboy community in the UK with this new development.”

Blike co-founder Tim Carrigan added: “Cowboy bikes have always been one of the most popular models on the Blike subscription scheme. We are really pleased to be working with Cowboy to extend our subscription offer to all Cowboy’s UK customers. Given the cost of e-bikes, we believe subscription will play an important role in driving adoption of e-bikes and helping people to adopt greener, healthier transport and commuting options.”

Estarli is another eBike brand using the Blike service to get its range in customers hands.
