Bianchi returns to WorldTour with Team Arkéa-Samsic

Bianchi has announced a new UCI WorldTour partnership with French team Arkéa-Samsic, who’ll ride the new Oltre RC. The partnership will also include a Pro Continental women’s and Development Team line-up.

Signing a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Team Arkéa-Samsic, the brand will see the likes of Tour de France stage winner Warren Barguil, and Amandine Fouquenet, French U23 road champion onboard.

Team bike in isolation. Drive side on. With Bianchi’s long-standing commitment to Team Arkéa-Samsic the brand see it charting a path to steady growth, partnering with an ambitious and growing team who’ll be directly supported by the Italian brand’s Reparto Corse division.

Bianchi CEO, Fabrizio Scalzotto“In recent years, Team Arkéa-Samsic has demonstrated growth by achieving its planned goals. The solid organisation and the international approach are two factors that we consider decisive, and in the coming years we want to contribute to efforts for achieving new targets and to be well represented in the World Tour”, said Bianchi CEO, Fabrizio Scalzotto.

The partnership with Team Arkéa-Samsic is also strategically important for Bianchi, consolidating its position in the market. By leveraging the strength of an actively engaged fanbase, the Team will work closely with Bianchi to get closer to the audience of users and fans through communication and co-marketing initiatives.

Bianchi’s equipment dedicated to Team Arkéa-Samsic includes the Specialissima, the light and reactive all-rounder that’s perfect for stage racing and climbing. For time trials, the multi-winning Aquila will be the Arkéa-Samsic athletes’ ally, while Zolder Pro will return to the international stage of world cup cyclocross.

In late 2021 the bike brand announced plans for new 30,000sqm HQ and production facility in Italy with the goal of quadrupling production. The launch of a range of eMTB and eGravel bikes has a key roll to play for the Italian business, attracting new riders to a storied brand, whilst the all new Oltro RC, Pro and Oltro bikes represent the sporting pinnacle, drawing on the brands performance cycling heritage, whilst building new relationships with elite sport, and a recreational sports cycling customer base hungry for technical innovation.
