eDrive specialist Ananda opens factory in Vietnam

Created as a direct response to growing needs and demands of the European and American markets, Ananda eDrive’s Vietnam factory is now up and running, having officially opened at the end of 2023.

Ananda’s international presence includes an R&D headquarters in Shanghai, three factories in China and one in Hungary. The new factory in Vietnam is specifically designed as a cutting-edge facility fully dedicated to serving the US and EU markets.

Close to European customers, the Hungary factory is primarily for motor refurbishment, ensuring that European customers are served quickly and efficiently.

This Vietnam-set fifth factory is strategically located approximately 1.5 hours from the largest financial centre in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City.

There’s significant focus on the OEM market, with Ananda explaining that the new factory brings strategic location advantage in terms of compliance and certification of origin, when trading with the EU and US. There’s also the benefit of proximity to other supply chain facilities – a point picked up on in the latest issue of CIN.
