Ross Patterson to step down from Whyte at the end of October
After 36 years of service to Whyte, international sales director Ross Patterson will step down on October 31st, with Patterson looking forward to a change of pace after dedicating almost his entire career life to the organisation.
The now commercial director of the British bike brand started with Whytes predecessor company ATB sales and followed across to the new venture in 1999 to help birth and grow Whyte into the bike brand that it is today.
Nikki Hawyes, Whytes CEO, said: “I want to pay tribute to the exceptional service that Ross has given Whyte bikes over his 36 years with the business. Although his dedication and passion for the success of the Whyte brand will be missed, he’ll always be a part of the Whyte family.”
Patterson said: “I will be leaving my role as International Sales Director with Whyte at the end of October and making a big change to my work-life balance. After 36 full-on years it’s time to step back and refocus – take some time off, and head for the hills on my new ELyte. I am convinced the brand is now on the right path and once the current market conditions improve will go from strength to strength. I will be remaining a part of the extended Whyte family, cheering on from the sidelines and stand ready to assist if required.”
Michelle Lee will inherit Whytes position as international sales director, aiming to build on the legacy that Patterson leaves behind after his departure.
