USE VYBE Suspension stem tailored for gravel and bikepacking market growth
ULTIMATE, the components arm of the USE group, has channelled 35 years of experience and knowledge in suspension parts into its latest launch, the VYBE Suspension stem, to create the “ultimate gravel and bikepacking cockpit”.
The firm said the infinitely adjustable stem can be set up to every individual’s riding style and terrain.
ULTIMATE, then Ultimate Sports Engineering, created what is said to be the world’s first suspension seat post, the SHOKPOST. Now branded the VYBE, and with the market growth of gravel and bikepacking refocusing rider minds on comfort and reduced fatigue, the new VYBE Suspension stem completes the ULTIMATE gravel or packing suspension cockpit.
The VYBE Stem comes with five performance elastomers that can be adjusted to fine tune the feel and feedback to the rider. Two elastomers, upper and lower, are positioned in the stem at all times. The upper rebound, “bump stop” elastomer is a constant, the lower compression elastomer is interchangeable, dependent on rider weight or simple rider feel preference. Both rebound and compression
elastomers can be, using the top rebound and lower compression bolts, totally personalised to give the perfect response back to the rider.
