10 Reasons to Attend iceBike* (including visiting the Manchester Velodrome)

The first ever two-venue iceBike* is now just around the corner. Whether you are heading to iceBike* North or iceBike* South it is guaranteed to be another massive show for everyone in the industry.

There are a host of reasons to attend one of the shows this year, so the team at Madison Sportline has compiled a top 10 list, highlighting key elements of the iceBike* 2023 experience.

If you haven’t already, make sure you register here to attend either Manchester or London show.

A reminder that iceBike* North takes place on Sunday 5^th and Monday 6^th March at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester. iceBike* South takes places a couple of days later on Thursday 9^th and Friday 10^th March at the Tobacco Dock in London

1. Shimano CUES

This new component ecosystem from Shimano is going to change the way we service and ride our bicycles, for the better.

iceBike* will be the first time anyone in Europe will be able to see the products in person so you need to be there.

2. Seminars

It is another packed out seminar schedule this year with talks from industry heavyweight Jay Townley, the Bicycle Association, ACT, Shimano, Laka and a Q&A with Dom Langan and his senior management team. It’s the perfect place to sharpen your skills ahead of the spring season.

3. Evening Entertainment

All work, no play makes a trade show dull which is why we always put on a big party to unwind and have a good time at iceBike*. At iceBike* North in Manchester on 5^th March we are heading to BOX in Deansgate, while at iceBike* South we are taking over the Wapping Tavern on 9^th March for a night of games, good food and drink!

4. New Products

We can’t begin to list them all here but there are brand new products form the likes of Madison Clothing, Vittoria, Knog, Park Tool, Elite, Shimano, Kryptonite, DT Swiss, Dynaplug, ODI and many more! So make sure you head down to either show to see it all first-hand.

5. Bike Demos

Who doesn’t love a bike ride?! At both venues we will be offering demos of the latest range of Ridgeback and Genesis bikes. At iceBike* South we have even designed a lovely, quiet route that takes in some truly amazing views of the capital

6. Calvin Jones

One of the best known and most respected bike mechanics in the world, Calvin Jones from Park Tool will be at the show giving two of his excellent talks each day on the Park Tool stand. Head over there to learn about the PRS-33.2 and to discuss brake bleeding concepts and teaching it to your staff.

7. New Brands

We have some new faces at iceBike* this year! Vittoria, Knog, Tooo Cycling and FIST will all be making their show debuts, so it’s a great chance to see what they are all about. We also have an old friend back at the show in the shape of Quad Lock.

8. Famous Faces

You can always be sure to spot some famous cyclists at iceBike* dropping in to say hi. This year visitors can expect to bump into the likes of Adam Blythe, Matt Walker, Greg Williamson, Becci Skelton, Matt Jones, Jono Jones and plenty more.

9. Offers

Our exclusive iceBike* offers are always a huge attraction at the show and they are a great way for your business to get ahead of the curve. There are also some incredible staff show offers so it’s a chance to bag yourself some goodies too!

10. Business Services Area
