Construction begins at Vittoria Tyre Innovation Centre and Cycling Experience Park

Vittoria has broken ground at the site of what is being calling the worlds first multi discipline cycling experience, innovation centre, and knowledge hub for bicycle tyre development.

Announcing Vittoria Park the tyre manufacturer highlights that the site will host a new Bicycle Tyre Innovation Centre, with more than 2.000m2 of high-tech testing facilities that will combine internal and external testing. Included at the Cycling Knowledge Hub, is a co-working space for open innovation with start-ups, university programmes and cycling related projects will bring tyre development to the next level.

Beyond the development environment Vittoria Park – a 50.000m2 site – situated close to Milan, Italy, will also feature:

  • More than 4km of tracks including different road and gravel surfaces,
  • Replica Strade Bianche gravel sections
  • Replica Paris-Roubaix cobble stone sections
  • Mountain bike features like rock gardens, roots and rock sections, drop offs up to 1.35 m
  • A 380 metre jump line with banked corners
  • A pump track which fits all UCI standards to host qualifier events
  • A jump training air bag and a skills-and-tricks area

All tracks come with at least 3 levels of difficulty from beginner to professional to offer a safe and controlled yet challenging environment for every cyclist.

Vittoria house - a building amongst the tracks While enjoying their passion, cyclists can experience the 1000 m2 Vittoria House with food for athletes, a flagship store and workshops to try new bicycles or tune up their own bikes. Visitors can relax in the park itself, which offers a green and spectacular oasis designed by the landscaper agronomist of the world famous “Bosco Verticale”, Laura Gatti.

In line with the all-inclusive Vittoria brand, all continents of the world are represented by more than 300 newly planted trees, over 15.000 plants, flowers and grass, and close to 20million m3 of earth and stones.

In 2021 Vittoria announced the acquisition of Dutch bicycle tyre maker A. Dugast, a renowned supplier with ties to numerous cyclists, including Paris-Roubaix winners and CX World Champions.
