Gtechniq bike protection picked up by Madison

Madison is to distribute Gtechniq to the UK and Irish cycle trade, including its most popular product, Bike Ceramic.

Bike Ceramic forms a durable ultra-slick, chemically bonded layer of optically perfect, invisible ceramic protection to a bike. This prevents dirt, mud and grim from bonding to the surface of the bike, which makes cleaning the bike easier.

CIN readers may recall that Gtechniq has a many-fold proposition to bike shops: Firstly, there’s the range it can sell to customers. Secondly, there’s the opportunity to offer a bike ceramic coating service to customers, to upsell and/or offer alongside other workshop services. Thirdly, there’s the prospect of retailers coating their bike hire/demo fleet with Gtechniq and cutting down the time spent cleaning up said fleet. That’s a point Madison’s boss picks up on:

“GTECHNIQ, may well be a brand already known to you from their paint protection products within the automotive industry,” said Dominic Langan, CEO at Madison. “We believe their new range of bicycle specific products is something a discerning cyclist will want to use to protect and maintain their bikes and keep them looking their absolute best. Gtechniq presents the retailer with some interesting opportunities within the aftersales channel, value added service for new bike sales and even protecting rental bikes and reducing cleaning time. This is a high quality, well respected premium brand which sits perfectly within our offering at Madison and we know you are going to enjoy great success with GTECHNIQ.”

“We are delighted to partner with Madison Distribution,” said Rob Earle, Gtechniq Bike Managing Director. “Their extensive network and deep understanding of the cycling market, make them the ideal partner to help us bring our industry-leading Bike Ceramic and maintenance products to a wider audience.”

Madison will distribute Gtechniq’s full range of bicycle care products headlined by the Bike Ceramic Kit and its associated products to keep bikes in top condition.

Gtechniq is available on Madison B2B and Freewheel now. Dealers can visit Madison B2B for more information or to order, or contact their local Sales Manager.
