Head to toe: fizik steps into bike helmet market
Not content with producing shoes and saddles, fizik is to introduce a range of helmets, with four models to kick off the Italian brand’s new category.
You may have heard the rumours at COREbike, but the range promises cutting-edge lines across road, gravel, triathlon and trail, available to the UK and Irish cycle trade via Extra UK and Cyclex.
Available in four models, the Kudo and Kudo Aero are designed for road, gravel and XC while the Kassis is tailored for off-road trail riders and the Kunée is optimised for TT and Triathlon.

fizik Senior Product Manager Alex Locatelli said: “Entering the helmet category is the natural expansion of the fizik brand. We are known for combining function and aesthetics, so we have been working hard to bring this to life in our new helmet range.
“We have created a product that lends itself to fizik’s innovative style while also delivering on fit, function and safety, earning a five-star rating on the Virginia Tech Helmet Ratings.”
Aerodynamic optimisation
Guided by advancements in computational fluid dynamics, fizik engineers designed, tested and refined their helmets to streamline airflow and minimise wind resistance. As one of the key elements of the riders’ front profile, fizik said it left no curve, contour or surface unconsidered.
A dialed-in, fine-tuned fit
While performance is critical, helmet comfort is equally important. Beyond offering a broad range of sizing from 52cm up to 61cm, fizik has engineered a micro-adjustable internal retention system. This allows riders to fine-tune the fit, adjust tilt and accommodate a variety of head shapes for a personalised feel.

Integrated safety
As part of fizik’s commitment to rider protection, each helmet in the range meets the international safety standards as well as the Kudo, Kudo Aero and Kassis feature an integrated rear light. Connecting simply and securely with a snap-on design, riders can choose between solid and flashing modes for increased visibility while out on adventures.
Additionally, the Kudo, Kudo Aero and Kassis models use the MIPS Air Node System to dissipate the rotational forces experienced during impact and reduce the likelihood of injury.

Kudo
Designed for road, gravel and XC riders, the highly ventilated and lightweight helmet is pitched as ideal for cyclists tackling long mountain climbs, gravel adventures and everyday riding.
Kudo Aero
Engineered for speed, the aero design features strategically placed air inlets to balance ventilation with aerodynamic efficiency. The Kudo Aero is the perfect choice for riders seeking additional watt savings in road races and beyond, said the brand.
Kunée
Developed through extensive wind tunnel and CFD testing, its teardrop profile, smooth shell and strategically corrugated side panels minimise drag while optimising airflow. A honeycomb-grid ventilation system above the visor ensures cooling without compromising aerodynamics, while additional vents and lightweight padding enhance airflow and thermoregulation.
Kassis
Combining exception ventilation with enhanced protection in the occipital and lateral areas, the lightweight yet durable construction provides extended coverage for demanding off-road conditions.
