Skarper and Bikebook create trusted service network for riders

Workshop management tool and consumer-facing bicycle workshop directory Bikebook, and click-on eBike drive system creator Skarper have partnered to provide cyclists a trusted service network, with Bikebook becoming Skarper’s first brand official service provider.

The new collaboration will help Skarper to develop a selection of preferred partners from Bikebooks networks network. This will allow co-operation with a growing network of independent, highly trained mechanics around the nation. This will help customers receive on-the-ground support for fitting, servicing, warranty claims, and other post-purchase needs.

Jake Fieldsend, Bikebook co-founder, said: “Our platform and network offers brands like Skarper a great way to add reassurance to their customers through having preferred service partners in key locations around the country – and in the future internationally, too.”

Over 400 workshops currently exist on Bikebooks platform across the country, with a growing international base adding to this. The most recent collaboration between Bikebooks and Skarper follows a trend of D2C brand collaborations designed to support the end customer post-purchase and provide a better riding experience.

Ean Brown, CEO of Skarper, added: “Skarper is designed to be as user-friendly as possible, but we want to ensure customers have easy access to support when needed. Thanks to our partnership with bikebook, we can give current and potential customers a seamless way to find expert assistance with their Skarper.”

Fieldsend added: “We’re excited to welcome the team onto the platform and to further facilitate their growth in the UK for what’s a really innovative product and way of further democratising safe and sophisticated next-gen eBikes.”

Bikebook has recently undertaken the expertise of PaceUp to improve the companies public relations activity, looking to take its product onto a global scale.
