Andi Sykes and Lauren Jenkins depart Singletrack

Following the news that Chipps Chippendale has become Editor at Large, the Singletrack team is to further reshuffle with the departure of Andi Sykes and Lauren Jenkins.

Publisher Mark Alker told CI.N: “Andi has guided our product reviews and tech focus for many years and we will miss him, his dry wit and wisdom but we wish him all the best in what comes next. He’s leaving some big shoes to fill but fill them we will. We still have him for a few more weeks yet, but we have already begun actively recruiting for a new role of Content Manager (Tech) to keep the product content flowing. And we have a lot of content to work on.”

Ad Sales Manager, Ross Demain added: ‘We’re planning ahead and responding to the industry’s desire for more product focussed content, as well as branded stories and innovative advertising beyond traditional display ads. It’s a great time to get in touch and make sure your brands are featured in the exciting times ahead.”

Hannah Dobson has now fully settled into her new Managing Editor role. She said: “It’s great to be in a position to help Singletrack World move forward. I’m proud to work for this independent corner of the bike world where tradition and integrity sit happily alongside innovation and progression. I’m looking forward to seeing the fruits of the changes we’re making, and bringing an even wider range of stories and news to our readers, viewers and listeners.”

To mark the publisher’s 20th anniversary a small production of custom Elliot Brown watches are to be made and custom engraved with the Singletrack markings.

Charlie Hobbs, a contributor to the title said of the celebratory product: “It has several unique one off features… you get your name engraved on the back, and it features a bottle on the rotating bezel so you can prove it is indeed beer O’clock (who says inventing new things in the bike world is getting harder?)”
