Attendance numbers soar for COREbike 2025
The organisers behind cycle trade show COREbike have confirmed the 20th edition of the show broke all previous attendance records.
With the pre-registration number topping 1,900 to easily best last year’s record figure of 1,608, all the signs pointed to a big year for COREbike. When the dust had settled on Tuesday afternoon, the final attendance was 20% up year-on-year, 83% of pre-registered dealers, workshops and retailers had attended, 565 brand staff badges had been printed and 1,879 lunches served.
“As the UK’s longest-running trade event, it’s hugely encouraging to see COREbike going from strength-to-strength,” said Will Fripp, CEO of Extra UK. “Announcing a record attendance figure is wonderful and, speaking on behalf of the six founding companies, we all hugely appreciate the dealers, workshops and press who journeyed to Whittlebury this year, as well as all the efforts and hard work of the venue, distributors and brands taking part.”
Adam Garner, Director and co-owner of first-time exhibitor Adaptive DCS Ltd, said: “An amazing event and fantastic to see so many dealers over the three days – the show has been a great benefit to our business.”
The 20th edition of CORE included several firsts for the show. Fellow COREbike founder Lloyd Townsend, MD of ISON Distribution noted: “The venue freed up some additional exhibition rooms this year which meant we could accommodate some of the waiting list to create the show’s biggest-ever footprint. It was great to have the new companies with us and they all added something extra to the show, making it even more of a draw for dealers to travel to Whittlebury.”
The new bus shuttle running from Milton Keynes station to the venue also proved to be a popular addition, both with visitors and the overseas brand representatives on their return journeys back home. Meanwhile, attendees walked away with 20th edition commemorative YETI mugs.
Extra’s Will Fripp isn’t expecting CORE to slow down in 2026: “With attending brands already keen to re-sign for next year, we plan to confirm a date in the coming months, with applications to join the waiting list for exhibition space open now. We’ll be contacting companies in August once the rebook is done.”
