Cycle Exchange partners with Fettle, enhances sales process

Cycle Exchange have announced a new partnership with Fettle, the faff-free bike repair specialists, enabling customers selling their bike to Cycle Exchange to drop the bike in at any Fettle store.

By bringing in Fettle as a drop off location, Cycle Exchange continues on their path to making selling a pre-owned bike as easy as possible.

Once customers have received a valuation from Cycle Exchange, and accepted the price, it’s now a simple next step, dropping the bike in at their local Fettle. Here a trained mechanic will do a quick check over of the bike and payment will then be processed.

The Cycle Exchange team have many years’ experience in checking over used bikes, with both checks and servicing carried out by a Cytech accredited mechanic. Frames are carefully inspected and parts that need replacing are replaced before the bike is handed over to new owners, ensuring they feel comfortable in the knowledge that their new bike is safe and mechanically sound.

Founder Matt Connelley had this to say: “We’ve always found that the biggest barrier to a customer parting with their bike is a quick, clear, and simple to use way of dealing with the actual physical aspect of the exchange. By expanding our options with Fettle we can continue to help customers on their journey.”

This comes at an exciting time for the business as they maintain their momentum after recent strong growth. “Our simple drop off/pickup courier service as well as this new venture alongside Fettle makes for huge strides in the way people can buy and sell their bikes away from more traditional and user unfriendly marketplace sites.”

Earlier in 2022 Cycle Exchange launched an all new brand identity, signalling the first step in the next stage of the evolution of the business.
