Eurobike to return to September from 2027
As part of Eurobike’s strategy reset, the Germany-set international bicycle show will see a significant shift in date starting next year – Eurobike 2027 will run 1-3 September.
In recent years, particularly since the show moved to Frankfurt, Eurobike has run earlier in the summer season – this year it will run 24-27 June.
That headline change isn’t the only one: Eurobike will move to the eastern section of the Frankfurt showgrounds, from Halls 8, 11 and 12 to Halls 3,4 and 5 around the Agora, which as a central outdoor area offers opportunities for test tracks and demo areas.
The moves came following a second meeting of the new Eurobike advisory board, made up of 15 senior representatives from industry, workshops, retail and associations (Bike and LEV). Taking place yesterday (19 May) the meeting included 50 industry interviews as well as feedback from a customer survey on the date, duration and sequence of days. The clear majority clearly favoured a return to September, said the press statement.
Meanwhile, Eurobike organiser Fairnamic will see a shift in organisation. Fairnamic is a joint venture between Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH and Messe Friedrichshafen, running both Eurobike and the Aero shows. Now Messe Frankfurt is taking the decision-making authority over Eurobike, with immediate effect. “This is… where the combined forces of the Messe Frankfurt Group will be leveraged, while Messe Friedrichshafen will drive the further development of the Aero aviation trade show.”
