Extra secures the UK and Eire distribution of Pirelli’s cycling comeback

Extra UK has announced that, as of the start of this month, it will act as the exclusive UK and Eire distributor for Pirelli’s PZero Velo range.

Having announced a comeback to the cycling world in tandem with the start of the Giro D’Italia, Pirelli is bringing forward three different versions of its PZero tyres: silver for Road Racing, red for Time Trial and blue for the Four Seasons.

“We chose to undertake collaboration with Extra UK for the United Kingdom and Eire market because of their proven experience and outstanding reputation,” says Felice Cusmai sales manager Europe. “We were looking for a highly professional partner boasting a portfolio of premium brands, a widespread network and an in-depth knowledge of the cycle market and its related dynamics. We are certain that our partnership with Extra will make a vast number of British and Irish cyclists appreciate the outstanding grip, great handling and reliability of our new bicycle tyres.”

The Extra sales team will start presenting the range and signing up stockists as of July with anticipated first deliveries being August 2017.
