Hiplok moves to new HQ in Leamington Spa
British security brand Hiplok has moved into a new headquarters in Leamington Spa.
The company said the relocation could support its expansion into motorcycle security and “reflect its continued global growth”. Located at The Old School on Court Street, the new headquarters is a restored Grade II listed Victorian building and is part of the Leamington Creative Quarter regeneration programme.
The new headquarters boasts expanded design and operational facilities, supporting Hiplok’s “ongoing commitment to in-house product development in the UK”.
“The Old School gives us the space to keep designing and developing the strongest locks and smartest storage solutions for riders everywhere. The new space lets us push innovation further, which is what Hiplok is known for worldwide,” said John Abrahams, Co-Founder of Hiplok.
Currently, Hiplok’s products are sold in over 50 countries worldwide. The company reported record growth with sales up 20% year-on-year.
Founded in 2009, Hiplok launched multiple products, including the ORIGINAL wearable bike lock in 2011 and the anti-angle grinder D1000 D lock in 2021. The company entered the motorcycle market in 2023 with its 1000 Series anti-angle grinder range of D locks and ground/wall anchors.
Hiplok is part of Germany’s Uvex Sports Group, as the latter took a majority shareholding in the security business in 2021.
