Interbike to host job seekers event alongside key industry labels

Running on the Thursday of Interbike, The Shmooz will bring together a number of key industry brand recruiters in one room to offer a one-off opportunity for job seekers.

Returning for its fifth year on the 22nd, the event will take place between 1 to 4PM and will be followed by an informal ‘Happy Hour’ from 4 to 6PM.

Brands already on board include: Specialized, Jenson USA, Nuun Hydration, Pearl Izumi, Dorel Sports, Crank Brothers, Fi’zi:k, Brooks, Selle Royal, Aventon, 6KU, Populo, and Frog Bikes with more to be announced in the coming weeks. Further employers are invited to attend the Malakye-organised event.

“We’re beyond excited about the new location for this year’s event,” says Kelly Quiller, Business Development Manager for the Outdoor and Bike categories at Malakye. “Putting the Shmooz in the reCharge zone, which is right outside the show floor makes it much easier to find. We’re also introducing a really open and casual format to make it easy for people to come through and network on their way in and out of the show. Ending the Shmooz with a happy hour is also an exciting change. We’re all about networking and believe this event format really supports that!”
