This is another huge opportunity in our rapidly expanding business! Working with the Sales team and liaising throughout the company you will take a varied and vital role in our company. You’ll support the sales and marketing teams with your excellent product knowledge, organisational and data management skills and deliver your own sales to meet revenue targets, bringing passion and excellent service to every customer interaction.
Answering to our new Head of Sales you’ll be a team player who can manage our sales inbox, man the phones/live chat and manage sales team reporting but may also be asked to help with demos, to support at an event, or to wash or build a bike. This is a fast-moving role for a capable and adaptable self- starter who is sales -driven with lots of confidence and a highly organised approach…there is great potential for growth and advancement as the company scales up production

THE ROLE
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Solve customers’ needs by understanding their particular circumstances and connecting then to the right product – either immediately or in the future.
- Provide expert level advice on bike sizing, set-up and componentry
- Support marketing team with technical know how
- Maintain strong and efficient communications with the sales, marketing and manufacturing teams at Atherton Bikes, Dyfi, and Atherton Racing
- Support in the implementation and execution of sales processes and systems to drive sales, including admin support and reporting
- Understand market segments, industry trends and competitive products and play a key role in keeping the entire team abreast of interesting developments
- Understand our brand values and support the marketing team to help them utilize product attributes and benefits to build an effective sales funnel.
- Support at events and open house to build customer relationships
- Build merchandise sales
- Optional: deliver demo rides on site at Dyfi Bike Park
THE CANDIDATE

- Technical expertise

- Super-organised, practical and can-do
- An experienced mountain-biker with highly developed social and practical skills
- Hands on mentality with great attention to detail
- Team-player and a good communicator
- Resourceful
ESSENTIAL
- Demonstrate experience of and aptitude for sales – most likely in in a direct sales role
- Good working knowledge of bicycle components and maintenance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft office and other computer systems including collaboration platforms and CRM
- Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to work in a tight-knit team or solo
- Must be available to work after hours, weekends and holidays as required; this is no 9-5
- Must be able to work on site in Machynlleth minimum 4 days a week
- A positive can-do attitude and ability to work to deadlines and targets
NICE TO HAVE
- MTB skills – to advanced level
- Practical skills – can you put together an easy-up? build a bike?
- At least 2 years bike industry experience
- At least 2 years sales experience
- Ability to travel internationally at short notice
- Experience of digital marketing and community engagement
- Experience of Zoho CRM
