Jorvik Tricycles names Office Manager to support growth
Adult tricycle manufacturer Jorvik Tricycles has appointed Kevin Hodgson (pictured third from right) as Office Manager.
In his new role, Hodgson will play a pivotal part in supporting the company’s growth, including developing relationships with stockists and retailers to expand Jorvik Tricycles’ B2B and in-store presence, strengthening internal workflows and improving integrated systems to streamline processes and support a high-performing team.
Joining Jorvik Tricycles from global food retailer McDonald’s, where he was part of the Assistant Business Manager team across Yorkshire, Hodgson brings more than 15 years of experience in finance, project management and leadership roles.
“I’m delighted to have joined Jorvik Tricycles at such an exciting time for the business and the wider industry. I’m looking forward to working closely with the senior team to support sustainable, long-term growth and to strengthen operations across sales, technical and dispatch functions,” said Hodgson.
Following Hodgson’s appointment, Jorvik Tricycles now has a total of eight full-time employees.
James Walker, Founder and Managing Director of Jorvik Tricycles, added: “We’re really happy to welcome Kevin as we bolster our leadership team. Kevin will act as the central point for the sales, customer services, technical and dispatch teams to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities. His role will be vital in supporting sustained growth and expansion across the UK.”
The company added that the appointment follows a landmark year for the business, which saw a 94% year-on-year increase in revenue and the opening of its second bricks-and-mortar store in Southampton last year.
Located at Chandlers Ford Business Park, the 7,500-square-foot store allows visitors to test all 16 models in Jorvik’s range, including the JET-E16 city trike and the newly launched Freedom. The showroom also offers bespoke appointments with one-to-one consultations. According to the company, the new facility aims to meet rising demand for accessible transport options in the region.
