New Brompton will be available through monthly payment scheme, direct from the brand
Brompton has stepped into the ‘pay per month’ market with its new B75 commuter bike.
For £30 a month, commuters will be able to obtain a B75 (so-named in homage to Brompton’s first year of business), which is a fifth cheaper than the cost of a London zone 1-3 travelcard.
Coming weeks after CIN highlighted the market potentials of leasing, monthly payments and long-term hires in the bike industry, Brompton’s new scheme to get their bikes into the hands of punters reduces the potentially off-putting upfront cost of the bike.
Consumers choose their finance model online, get approved (or not) and then elect a collection slot to pick up the bike, which has an RRP of £745.
