Orbea launch Oquo wheel brand

Spanish cycling brand Orbea has launched a brand new name into the market with Oquo, debuting with 2 carbon and 1 alloy wheelset options for XC and short travel Trail, as well as 2 Enduro, eBike, longer travel Trail focused options, 1 carbon, 1 alloy.

The Oquo launch announcement highlights that, “we are engineers, innovators, material scientists, and designers, but above all, we are riders, and we understand that the best wheels are a key part of any performance bike.”

Mountain Performance is the name given to the XC and short travel Trail focused product range, with Mountain Control dedicated to Enduro, eBike and longer travel Trail.

Whilst the launch focuses exclusively on mountain bike, the website also features some road bike imagery, potentially teasing at what’s to come, with Oquo likely to become the go to for Orbea bikes in the future.

Earlier in 2022 Orbea issued an operational update on its progress, within which the company revealed a sixth consecutive year of growth and a sales revenue of €282 million.
