Scott Purchas launches cycle-focused digital ad agency, girodilento

Thursday June 1 2023 sees the launch of girodilento, a new digital advertising and marketing agency focused solely on the sports and outdoor industries.

girodilento originally launched as a cycling blog back in 2010 by Scott Purchas. Over several years, traffic grew to a peak of 10,000 visitors a month, with content focused around road cycling. Running the blog put Purchas in contact with a range of cycling and sports businesses, which led to discussions on the rise of social media and digital marketing and how brands could embrace these developments.

Purchas began consulting to companies in the UK and beyond as a freelancer and has since delivered over 1,000 digital ad campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Google Ads for a number of well-known brands.

Launching as an agency in 2023 sees Purchas looking to expand this work to new companies to help them ensure their digital marketing is delivering its potential.
