Sea Otter Europe 100% sold out for 2022

Sea Otter Europe 2022 is already a success, even with the opening day 2 weeks away. 2022 sees the largest expo footprint the show has ever hosted, and it’s 100% sold out.

From 1 February, when booking opening for new brands, the Sea Otter Europe team started work on the possibility of expanding and making more space available for booking. This increase in size – planned for 2022 – was designed to utilise spaces which didn’t feature in 2021, as well as creating a new area reserved especially for bike brands.

It became very quickly apparent that the increase was going to be insufficient, and, as a result of interest from the professional sector, the organisers confirmed that the expo zone would expand even further.

Bikes, parts and accessories, and demo opportunities

The festival is seen primarily as an opportunity for brands to meet, ride, and talk business, with end customers. Whilst leading brands make up a substantial part of the product on offer, the festival will bring visitors in touch with emerging brands and newer bike businesses, ensuring the event delivers for a wide range of exhibitor and attendees, with products on show across the price point spectrum.

For those attending the festival, Sea Otter Europe is committed to strengthening and improving its demo bike programme, with bike testing for practically all types of bikes (MTB, gravel, road, urban and especially e-bikes) on offer. In tandem with the demo bike offering is an accessories and components brands product testing zone, so that visitors can be sure of making the right decision when it comes to purchasing.

Cycling destinations, tourism, and urban mobility

With the festival making a name for itself within the industry, the challenge the organisers are now aiming for is to highlight and strengthen areas of the festival that also contribute to the world of cycling.

Among other things, this involves the recovery of urban mobility and the promotion of tourist destinations through cycling. For this, the Costa Brava-Girona region will serve as a reference point in addition to other major countries and international capitals that are also recognised as cycling paradises tailored towards cyclists.

From 23 to 25 September, it will not only be possible to keep up to date with the latest developments in the sporting sector but also to take a closer look at the rest of the world and some of the places where you can explore new regions on 2 wheels as well as brands with a special link to urban mobility. All this can be discovered through the Sea Otter Europe Green Zone.
