Trek hires for new UK brand store openings, Madison, Extra and Raleigh recruit
Trek Bicycles is currently hiring for new brand store openings that are currently taking form in St. Albans and Bicester, as well as for a site in Bath that opened in 2020.
Currently open and available to apply for are a sales associate role in Bath, plus the same role in a Bicester store currently being built out and set to open August 12th.
The Bicester branch will open at a prime retail location, surrounded by a Nike Factory Store, McDonalds and other high street staples.
Meanwhile, the St. Albans Store Manager role has now seen applications close, while the site is not yet confirmed. A former Trek dealer, Addiktion Cycles, closed its store on Victoria Street in September of 2020, leaving a gap for the label.
The new Trek brand store experiences join locations bearing the logo in Milton Keynes, Bristol, Manchester, Battersea, Sheffield and Wilmslow, to name a few. The gradual expansion of the footprint is, however, some way behind the mass buyouts of retail portfolios seen in the USA.
Elsewhere in the industry and listed as open vacancies on CI.N’s jobs board this week, the following roles are up for grabs:
- Distributor Extra UK is seeking a Brand Manager, to work full-time between home and the office in a hybrid role
- Madison are on the lookout for a Digital Content Administrator to join the in-house eCommerce team
- One of the more unique roles currently on offer, Shift Cycling Culture – the industry organisation helping businesses deliver sustainability strategies – is looking for an Executive Director.
- At retail, Twelve50 Bikes of Cheshire is looking for a Sales Assistant, while Havebike is seeking a Senior Bike Technician and is offering up a generous sign up bonus.
- Meanwhile, Nottingham distributor Raleigh UK is hoping to hear from those with a technical support background. Find more on that role here.
