Velopac introduces entry-level product with RidePac Lite

British cycling luggage and accessory maker VeloPac is to introduce a new entry-level product having paired with an overseas manufacturer for the first time.

The VeloPac Lite comes to market with a £20 price tag, though maintains durability, pairing ripstop waterproof polyester with a weather-resistant zip closure.

Produced in four bold colours (Black, Mocha, Blue or Teal) the range is set to massively boost online, retail and export business, believes VeloPac founder Andy Easterbrook.

“2017 has delivered strong sales growth for RidePac with increased UK and export sales growth. To take the VeloPac brand to the next level we have applied a new production strategy for 2018 with the launch of RidePac Lite.

“Manufacturing products in the UK has many benefits such as short lead time and the ability to produce custom designs in small batches, but UK Labour rates and production costs result in a higher retail price than some consumers would like to pay.

“With the lower RRP and new dealer-friendly packaging, this product should really appeal to retailers who can order the whole VeloPac range at trade pricing by registering as a B2B customer on our website.”

Distribution to the cycle trade and export sales are managed by Wildoo Limited, whose new look website launched in 2017, handling both B2C & B2B sales.
