The rebadged Verbier Bike Festival had 500-plus bikes to test and more than 550km to ride over 30-plus trails. North of 3,000 attendees took part in this year’s show, with ran in mid-August.

Launched in 2019 as the Verbier E-Bike Festival, the event went on to broaden its scope ahead of this year’s edition when it switched to celebrating all disciplines of cycling under the Verbier Bike Festival banner.

The organiser said the thinking behind that move was to open up to more cycling disciplines, more brands and strengthen community ties (cyclists, experts and industry leaders).

At the time, Founder Nicolas Hale-Woods said: “The Verbier Bike Festival marks another milestone in our mission to create a truly inclusive and world-renowned cycling event. It’s a celebration of innovation, adventure, and the great community that cycling brings together.”

Set in the picturesque locale of Verbier and the Val de Bagnes, Switzerland, Verbier has some inclusive credentials, including child-orientated activities like an interactive treasures, trail and food rides (including the Rando Gourmande Classique, tours, tests and more standard cycle event fare.

The next Verbier Bike Festival runs 13-16 August 2026.
