Muc-Off launches ‘world’s first’ pressure washer for bikes

Muc-Off has announced the launch of the ‘world’s first’ pressure washer designed purely for bicycles and motorbikes.

The brand has developed and tooled three specific lances to ensure the pressure washer won’t damage any surfaces or bearings, including: one for bikes, one for motorbikes and one bespoke and adjustable pressure lance.

The premium 1200W carbon brush motor gives a max flow rate of 6.5L/Min and a max pressure of 100 bar, and is all housed in a tough, impact resistant, modified co-polymer outer casing.

Each part of the washer’s gun and lance is coated in a soft touch matte-black finish in order to lower the chance of damage if the nozzle knocks accidentally against a bike. A high-pressure hose with metal contact points for durability is also included.

The product is available in limited quantities exclusively through, with pricing starting at £79.99. The product is currently restricted to the UK, with EU and North America compatible models arriving later in the year.

Muc-Off announced a change in its UK cycle market approach last week when it launched its new dealer-direct programme, parting ways with UK distributor Silverfish.

Alex Trimnell, Muc-Off CEO, said: “I’m so delighted to see the Muc-Off Pressure Washer out in the wild. It’s been a labour of love for me and the team for years, and after hundreds of prototypes I’m delighted to say that we’re really happy with the final result.

“To be able to give our customers a product that answers one of the biggest challenges in cleaning your bicycle or motorcycle, is something I’m super proud of. I can’t wait to see it in full effect this summer!”

Also available separately is a custom dry bag carry case, designed to easily store the pressure washer, keeping everything within easy reach.
