Apidura publishes 2022 Impact Report

British bikepacking and adventure specialist Apidura, maker of ultralight, rackless, packing systems, has published its 2022 Impact Report.

This is the first Impact Report that Apidura has produced since becoming a B Corp certified business in 2022. The report aims to provide a comprehensive, transparent account of the businesses starting point, the steps that the business has taken, and the principles that will guide future efforts.

Under the heading of ‘Understanding our Impact’ the business goes on to state, “Everything we do has an impact on the environment. As a brand, we have the ability and responsibility to influence the extent of this impact through every decision we take. At Apidura, we believe the journey toward a more sustainable future can not be an ‘add-on’ but must be central to the why and how of what we do.”

As a comprehensive, transparent account of principles and actions being taken to improve environmental and social performance, the report:

  • Provides insight into CO2e impact of product creation.
  • Quantifies impact of Repair service and Revive programme.
  • Gives insight into philosophy of ‘Conscious consumption’, including ‘No discounts, No Seasonality’.
  • Covers elimination of harmful PFAs from the product line.
