Assistant Manager/Mechanic
Take Charge Bikes is entering it’s 8th year of trading and was one of the first eBike specialist retailers. We are seeing fantastic growth in this sector of the cycle industry and expect our growth to continue, and we want the right person to grow with us. We specialise in electric bikes but we can also supply traditional bikes from most of our brands.
We are looking to recruit an assistant manager/mechanic for our Bath shop. Ideally you’ll have experience working in a bike shop as a mechanic and in sales but we will consider applications that demonstrate strong customer face to face experience with a sound knowledge of bike servicing and maintenance. Any experience working with and selling eBikes will be a plus.
Ideal skills and experience possessed by you will include supervisory experience, cash handling, key holder, clean driving licence, dealing with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner, comfortable in a sales environment. You’ll be good at working on your own and with others, look for things to do, ideas on how to increase commercial awareness for the shop.
We are a relatively small team and you’ll need to be self motivated and ok with being on your own at times.
Starting salary between £16 – £18+ p.a pro rata, 28 days holiday inc bank/public holiday, future commission performance bonus, pension. F/T or P/T considered.
