Over the last 25 years Sigma Sport has established itself as a premium retailer within the Road Cycling and Triathlon industry, with a passion for sourcing quality products and providing excellent levels of customer service. As we continue to grow we are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial marketing assistant to join our growing team.


As part of a fast growing marketing team you’ll be at the forefront of helping Sigma Sport increase awareness and preference amongst the cycling and triathlon community. You’ll take responsibility for a number of key marketing channels, engaging with new and existing customers to support our continued growth. Your role will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Digital Marketing – Support the Head of Marketing with optimisation of all digital marketing channels, including paid search, paid social and display
  • Event Management & Community Development – Build a calendar of consumer facing events/manage all logistics/ensuring each is delivered on budget
  • Sponsorship – Point of contact for all Sigma Sport sponsored teams/athletes. Developing relationship to ensure activation goals are met
  • PR – Handle inbound PR requests and develop relationships with press to increase Sigma Sport’s visibility across key media outlets
  • Content – Support the Digital team with production of unique and engaging content, including photography, video and written content
  • Reporting – Report to the Head of Marketing with key metrics and insight into performance of all the above channels


  • University Graduate (or equivalent experience) in Marketing or Business is a must
  • Minimum 1 year experience in retail marketing environment
  • Live and breathe road cycling and/or triathlon
  • Passion and understanding of how to engage with consumers in store and online
  • Entrepreneurial, a self starter, able to manage multiple projects at any time
  • Experience of event management and budgeting
  • Passionate about marketing and keen to learn and develop new skills
  • Ready to make an impact on the brand
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Commitment to the organisation’s mission and goals


We offer a competitive salary, dependent on experience


8:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday


28 days holiday including bank holidays
