BBB Cycling’s CoreCap wins iF DESIGN AWARD 2026

BBB Cycling’s CoreCap has been awarded the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026.

With its smart and robust mechanism that eliminates the need to unscrew valve cores or use fragile adapters, the CoreCap stood out among other products. It maximises airflow by up to 300% and fits standard Schrader pump heads, enabling riders to inflate tyres easily at any petrol station or with any floor pump.

“We really wanted to get rid of the annoying bent and broken valve cores. The CoreCap is designed from the ground up to be super robust and incredibly easy to use. It is a massive upgrade for any bike, with or without a tubeless setup,” said Yannick Lange, Product Designer at BBB Cycling.

Roderik Jager, Product Manager at BBB Cycling, added: “Our goal is always to make cycling more accessible. By creating a valve that fits a standard Schrader pump head without fiddly adapters, we give riders the freedom to inflate their tyres easily at any petrol station. It is a huge step forward in everyday convenience.”

The iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 is recognised as one of the most renowned design honours worldwide. Run by the independent iF Design Foundation in Germany, the award has served as a global benchmark for outstanding design excellence and impact for over seventy years. This year’s iF DESIGN AWARD saw more than 10,000 submissions from 68 countries.
