Bianchi to make and distribute Scuderia Ferrari bicycle portfolio

Bianchi has announced that it will develop, produce and distribute globally a Scuderia Ferrari portfolio of high-end road, MTB, e-bike, city/fitness and kids bikes.

Produced under licence, the bike portfolio will be co-developed with Bianchi’s engineers advising on design. Ferrari has in the past worked with a handful of bike brands, most notably Colnago, with which it has a relationship stretching back decades.

“We strongly desired this collaboration with Ferrari,” said owner and chairman of Bianchi Salvatore Grimaldi. “We will continue to develop the project over the next years thanks to the combined efforts of two Italian excellences. Working together will allow us to develop new products shaped by the mix of top-class knowledge and expertise from the two parts, creating successful and innovative models just like Bianchi and Ferrari have always done”.

The “Bianchi for Scuderia Ferrari” project will be officially presented in Friedrichshafen – Germany, at the Eurobike show, from August 30th to September 2nd 2017.
