Bosch eBike Systems partners with RideAble Now to support adaptive cycling
Bosch eBike Systems has formed a partnership with RideAble Now, supplying motors and supporting the latter’s Access Fund.
One of the main focuses of the partnership is Bosch eBike Systems’ role in supplying the Performance Line CX drive unit. With 120Nm of torque, 750W of maximum motor power and a 600% support factor, the motor is designed to meet the unique demands of adaptive cycles.
“For a huge number of riders, the modern eBike is a form of adaptive bike,” said Martyn Ashton, Founder of RideAble Now. “It’s the engine that unlocks the full potential of the machine. Having Bosch eBike Systems join us as an official partner is a recognition of our shared journey, and their support will be fundamental to our community’s future.”
In addition, Bosch will support the RideAble Now Access Fund. This community-driven grant fund helps disabled riders bridge the financial gap involved in purchasing a bike, helping them get back out on the trails.
Launched in January 2026, RideAble Now is a not-for-profit social enterprise aimed at supporting the adaptive cycling community.
“We are incredibly proud to join RideAble Now as an official brand partner,” said Chris Astle, UK Marketing Manager for Bosch eBike Systems. “Martyn and his team have built an extraordinary ecosystem that celebrates the joy of riding for everyone. Our technology is designed to break down barriers, and by supporting RideAble Now, we are helping to ensure that the most advanced eBike innovations are accessible to the adaptive community.”
