Cycle Republic opens Leed city centre branch

Cycle Republic today opened its 13th branch on Infirmary Street in Leeds’ city centre.

Apparently drawn to the city by a potential £30 million Government funding pot for cycling schemes, the bike-specific Halfords offshoot will deliver premium brands such as Basso, Haibike, Pinarello and Boardman Performance and Elite bikes.

Commenting on the opening, Cycle crRepublic Managing Director Peter Kimberley says: “We’re really excited about our new shop opening in Leeds, there is a real buzz about cycling here and a growing cycling community. We are looking forward to introducing the Cycle Republic experience to the local cyclists and thrilled that our reward scheme will give us more ways to support cyclists and give access to the best range of bikes in the market.”

The branch will carry Cycle Republic’s reward card scheme, which offers bike buying customers free puncture repairs and a half price annual service, as well as access to special deals and in store events.
