Eurobike takes “active role” in Taichung’s OEM-facing Bike Week

Eurobike has collaborated further with Taichung’s Bike Week, taking on “an active role” in the OEM event in Taiwan’s cycling heartlands.

In 2015, over 400 exhibitors met with around 2,500 buyers in three designated hotels venues. Eurobike’s involvement will now see the 2016 installment -running October 18th through 21st – offer an additional presentation area in a fourth venue.

”Taichung is considered the Silicon Valley of the international bicycle industry. With Taichung Bike Week, the metropolis in central Taiwan has a high-level OEM platform for negotiations between project managers of renowned bike brands and the supplier industry. This format has grown steadily over the past ten years and, as an important partner of the global bicycle industry, we would now like to make a contribution to help generate new momentum and to ensure that these developments continue,” explained Eurobike Head Stefan Reisinger.

Eurobike will also deliver a ‘matchmaking tool’ that will assist exhibitors and visitors time efficiency.  Using their accounts, they will be able to make targeted appointments and will receive contact suggestions customized to fit their profile during the October event.

Steve Fenton, organizer of Taichung Bike Week and CEO of Pro-Lite, is also pleased with the new partnership.

He said: “Taichung Bike Week is reaching its limits with its existing concept. It is a great achievement to now draw upon the Eurobike’s support and expertise to make the format more successful without losing charm or relevance in the process. Product managers come to Taichung Bike Week often under pressure to complete specifications for the new model year and the utilization of that time is paramount. Eurobike not only has the experience on how to help buyers maximize their time and plan most efficiently.”
