GASGAS targets UK eMTB retailer network expansion
It’s been a busy few months for Pierer Mobility AG, the business which owns GASGAS, Husqvarna, and Felt bikes, with the eBike side of the business fully focused on UK marketplace expansion.
With industry veteran Ash Clark heading up the retailer recruitment drive, GASGAS is now in a position to announce the first 10 dealers have received bikes this week. Importantly, Ash points out demo bikes are available, via the dealer network.
GASGAS goes racing
Hot on the heals of this news comes the announcement of 2 GASGAS teams and 4 racers set for a full season of UCI Mountain Bike E-Enduro World Cup competition.

Hand in hand with major industry partners, the GASGAS SRAM Racing team will see Johannes Fischbach and Alex Marin on the gas at the E-EDR stages, while Simon Carlsson and Alexandre Fayolle will be leading the efforts of the GASGAS MOTOREX Racing team.
In making the announcement the brand comments, “By joining forces with industry leading manufacturers SRAM and MOTOREX, we hope it’s clear to see we’re taking this seriously, too. We want to show we’re passionate about what we do, and that we’re keen to learn.”
Product development
Critically, team riders will also be instrumental in develop future GASGAS bikes, strengthen partnerships from within the group of PIERER New Mobility companies. Both teams will compete in the 5 round UCI Mountain Bike E-Enduro World Cup (E-EDR) for 2023, with the brand eager to test themselves against the world’s best. The upcoming 2023 season sees a whole lot of firsts for GASGAS, and represents the first time the brand has taken on a full season of competition in cycling and mountain biking.
