Halfords poaches Waitrose’ finance director
Halfords has recruited the former Waitrose finance director Loraine Woodhouse as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Starting November 1st, Woodhouse has led Waitrose’ finance departments, as well as held roles with Hobbs, Costa Coffee and Intu.
“I am delighted that Loraine will be joining Halfords as chief financial officer and look forward to working with her,” said Halfords’ chief exec Graham Stapleton.
“She has extensive finance leadership within service-based retail and will be a great addition to the senior team.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Jonny Mason and to wish him every success in the future.”
Halfords’ profits have in recent times been impacted by the weakened pound, despite rises in revenues.
