Scenery not bad for this week’s top job in cycling…
If you are seeking a job in cycling do we have a treat for you this week on CyclingIndustry.News’ board. Live as of last night, our weekly highlight is a mechanic’s job in the Cayman Islands where your role will be to keep locals and tourists pedaling, all while enjoying some Caribbean sun.
If you are up for keeping beautiful white sand clear of customer’s bearings then the proposition will be yet more compelling when you read the job description. The employer, Paddle Wheel, will cover the flight out for the right mechanic and initially pay $20 USD per hour. If the deal works for both parties after six months a two-year contract with a profit share option may follow.
That’s a tough act to follow, but here’s the rest on the board this week…
Based in Yate, performance parts distributor Saddleback is recruiting for a plethora of creative roles. There’s a Content Executive job, a PR & Events Coordinator role, a Marketing Manager position and finally a Social Media Executive for the cycling distributor.
Likewise expanding its team significantly, Madison has six jobs in the cycling division spanning Warranty Technicians, Inventory Planning, Customer Care, Design and Digital Content.
Also recruiting for more than one position, retailer Sigma Sports is again growing the team with the additions of a Store Sales role, as well as a Clothing Specialist to serve the cycling and triathlon customers in store.
Appealing to those who love a bit of outdoor adventure, the Lyon Equipment team is looking for a Southern Sales Representative to help bolster the dealer base for brands like Ortlieb, Bombtrack and Salsa.
There’s plenty more roles on offer, including jobs at retail with Cyclewise, Stirling Cycles and a trio of roles with Wheelbase too. Head here for the full breakdown of this week’s top jobs in cycling.
