Kask introduces 4 brand-new Protone Icon colours

Italian helmet brand, Kask has introduced 4 new colours for their Protone Icon range, equally at home on the gravel, cyclo-cross tracks and cross-country mountain bike trails as on the road.

The collection has expanding to include Lavender, Tangerine, Forest Green, and Sahara – 4 matte colours.

Ask Kask points out, the Protone Icon delivers high levels of safety, aerodynamics, comfort and ventilation, created using technology that seamlessly joins the upper and lower parts of the shell.

The OCTOFIT+ adjustment system is designed to provide comfort and stability, while the vertical stabilizer along the nape of the neck focuses on enhancing ergonomic support – combined, these are said to enable improved balance via a highly customizable fit.

A reflective insert on the rear has been included to provide increased safety on the road, while the internal lining, made of CoolMax fabric, is said to be comfortable, quick-drying, removable and washable. 

As is the case with all Kask helmets, the Protone Icon has passed the Kask Rotational Impact WG11 Test, an internal, scientific testing procedure adopted by Kask that measures the helmet’s performance when subjected to rotational impacts.

The Protone Icon is available in 3 sizes (Small, Medium and Large) to cover a wide range of head circumferences from 50 to 62 centimetres. With a Medium helmet weighing in at 230g (CE EN 1078 standard), the Protone Icon is now available in 13 colour variants.
