Madison adds bike camera used in Operation Close Pass
Madison has added to its portfolio the bike camera and light combination used by the West Midlands Police Force during Operation Close Pass.
Based in Shenzhen, China, the TOOO Cycling brand brings forward the DVR80, an 80-lumen rear light – visible from one-mile away – combined with a video camera capable of 1080p at 60fps on maximum resolution, or a maximum run time of 9.5hrs using the most economical settings.
Using a Sony IMX 323 Sensor, the DVR80 is designed for use in a dimly lit environment and can adjust to ambient light levels making it the perfect companion for early morning or twilight riding. It’s also IPX5 waterproof, so your customer need not worry even if you’re out riding in really bad weather and it can even withstand being fully submerged for five minutes.
Adrian Phillips, Brand Director at Madison, said: “We are very pleased to be able to work with TOOO in bringing this innovative product to the market. Bike cameras and lights make cycling safer for everyone and having worked closely with the West Midlands Police Force when they launched Operation Close Pass, it was clear that a combined camera and light product is paramount to safer cycling. The product is sleek easy to use and fit and we believe that this is the most credible and reliable unit that is available on the market. We look forward to working with TOOO in launching the brand into the UK and Ireland.”
The TOOO DVR80 is available now on MadisonB2B, or you can contact your local sales agent. Alternatively, call telesales on 01908 326000.
