Dutch retailer Mantel expands further with new logistics centre

Dutch cycling retailer Mantel has announced that it plans to open a new logistics centre in February 2022 to facilitate its online and physical growth after opening its fourth Superstore in Rotterdam and its seventh Service Point in De Bilt.

The new logistics centre is currently measures over 18,000 square meters and is being built at Park15, a sustainable business park just off the A15 motorway in Oosterhout, Netherlands.

The facility will feature 20 loading docks which plenty of space for loading and unloading, in addition to a spacious floor area. With the added storage space, the new logistics centre will allow Mantel to stock bikes, parts, accessories and cycling clothing throughout the year.

Furthermore, Mantel’s new logistic centre is being built with the ambition of ensuring more efficient processes, as all logistic activities will be under one roof with more space for storage. The new building will be able to store more than 50,000 bikes and one million parts.
