NAHBS reschedules 2027 return for early 2028

The North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS) will move to early 2028.

Originally planned to be held from 6–8 August 2027, the show will move to its traditional February–March period due to “two shows on one weekend”, according to Don Walker, Founder and President of the North American Handmade Bicycle Show. The MADE Bike Show will take place from 6–8 August 2027 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.

The dates and location of the 2028 edition of NAHBS will be announced in the coming weeks.

“NAHBS is aiming to go back now to where it has always been, February–March. That was the 2027 time frame I’d hoped for when I first started making inquiries early this year. The next North American Handmade Bicycle Show will take place in early 2028,” said Walker. “As for why I’m bringing NAHBS back at all, my answer is simple: it’s not just me that wants to see NAHBS back. There are builders, industry veterans and enthusiasts who believe NAHBS is no less important today than ever before.”

Founded in 2005, the North American Handmade Bicycle Show helped define and celebrate handmade bicycle craftsmanship for a generation.
